This is the first book in the Children's book Gecko Tales Series: Lesson from the Jungle. This book is based on a Folktale from Papua New Guinea and is titled: "Why Dogs Bark instead of Talk."
An interesting story about how the dog once long ago used to talk just like a man, and then through his cunning deeds lost his ability to talk. At the heart of this tale are very practical morals and values for Children of all ages.
